On behalf of the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, I am pleased to offer my congratulations on the silver jubilee of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine.

The Harvard Chan School is proud to have been a part of the Academy’s first 25 years. Through our joint efforts with the Academy and several other esteemed institutions, we have worked to improve disaster response and strengthen public health capacity in the Asia Pacific region, closing the gap between scientific insight and implementation. This collective effort is a superb example of the type of international collaboration that is needed to solve today’s most challenging public health problems.

I look forward to continuing collaboration and exchange of ideas as you embark on your next 25 years.

Best wishes,

Dr. Michelle A. WILLIAMS

Dean of the Faculty
